Mod-This
is for the guy that wants THREE times Saturation with all the TONE! How
is that possible?! I still use the TI RC4558P in this unit. It delivers
the best performance overall. I use a very high quality socket with gold
inserts. The connection between IC and socket can hardly be better. The
drive circuit is further pushed by lowering the resistance another notch
(the 4.7k is dropped to 1.5k and the 0.047uF cap is raised to 0.22uF).
TS-9 Mod Plus I have the TI RC4558P integrated circuit for your Ibanez Ts-9. This is what came in some early TS808 pedals. This will give your pedal TRUE TS808 sound. Many collectors agree that the TS808 with the TI4558P chip are some of the finest sounding pedals in the production. See photo of a TS808 circuit below. This is the same type pedal SRV used. as of January, 2005. Keeley Electronics has made the BOSS SD-1 effect
pedal better! Now with a unique twist, the Diode Switch as a standard
feature instead of an option. This allows players to get a really heavy
sound for pushing a Marshall amp, etc., or using it as a really fat

The new TS808
w/Hardwire Bypass offers a vintage look and sound. Many people are
wondering if it needs mods since it's the Holy Grail TS808 with JRC chip
installed. Sure it does! If you look at the board, it's the exact same
as the TS9 and has the same "faults" if you will. Limited bass
reponse that cuts so much that it appears as a huge midrange hump in the
sound. Limited Gain range...doesn't get clean enough or on the other
side, doesn't get enough distortion. Also, the lack of transparency or
muddiness becomes a problem for many users. All these things are fixed
with our mods. Our approach is to give you the most out of this classic
pedal. The bass repsonse is improved to the point of perfection.
It is nice and tight and not muddy at all. We upgrade that cap from a
0.047 to a 0.1uF and at the same time we increase the gain possible when
the drive control is turned up. That resistor is dropped from a 4.7k to
a 2.4k. We also make the pedla so it cleans up more We take the 51k and
lower it to 20k. This is our More/Less mod. You get both more drive and
less drive as well as all the sweet stock spots in the middle of the
control. We also upgrade the 1uF electrolytic caps to high tolerance,
great sounding, more consistant 1uF metal film caps. This type of thing
is done in all HI-FI stereos and audio gear. $250.00 |

basic Rat mod of ours requires drilling the case. We add a switch
to make the unit more of a tone buffet! This is a must-have for people
that need their Rat to be much, much more of an overdrive, tube amp
pedal! New (May, 2003)Rat pedals ship with a chip that sounds horrible
and has a bad sounding distortion to it. Not our pedals! We found a
stash of the correct ICs. These are fast becoming rare and we have the
heavy duty LM308 Metal Can version! Your Rat will sound incredible! [We
only change the chip if yours doesn't have the LM308, if your rat has
the 308, then there is no need to change] We also do a cap upgrade to
improve the bass response overall. This is what happens when a Rat

Lehle Amp Switchers
 The
Lehle D.Loop is a fully programmable Effect-Loop/Switcher with
two independent, real True Bypass loops routed via gold-plated relays.
Apart from that, it features a facility to switch via an in-built High
End Buffer Amp. Loops and Buffer Amp are fully stereo. If required, the Lehle
D.Loop is also remote-controllable via MIDI. $389.00 |
 The
Lehle Dual enables you to switch via gold-plated relays between
two amps or run your signal to both of them. A is electrically isolated
from B by means of a high end line splitter, so humming loops are
impossible, even if A and B are switched on simultaneously. During this
dual mode you can reduce gain with trim-pots for output A or B

Lehle 1@3 is designed to allow switching as a real True Bypass
Switcher via gold-plated relays. You can switch between either three
amps (A, B or C) or two amps and one loop. The input signal can only be
routed to one output. When using the loop, the effects are connected to
C and C->B. So you can switch smoothly between the direct (B) and the

TRex Effects
The Comp
Nova is T-Rex's answer for players seeking a simple to use, 9v
powered compressor unit with clarity and dynamics (even at maximum
compression levels) that will not color their sound. The
setting of the comp control is used to dial in the desired amount of
compression. The attack control is dual function and adjusts both the
attack and threshold (how hot the signal should be before engaging and
how long before releasing). The
volume is unity gain in the 12 o'clock position and provides up to 3 dB
boost in the maximum position. The Comp Nova - use it to smooth out and
thicken your guitar tone, while adding that much sought after
"chime". |
 The
Replica utilizes truly amazing circuitry to create THE MOST
AMAZING DELAY!! Unlike other digital units that use a DSP chip to sample
at 44.1 kHz, the Replica uses 2 Burr Brown 24 bit converters (1 Analog
to Digital; 1 Digital to Analog) to sample at an unprecedented rate of
200 kHz! In order to maintain full dynamics, the signal is routed from
the input ADC directly into RAM, where it is manipulated (according to
the unit's settings) and then routed directly to the Output DAC. The
circuitry is entirely analog, with the exception of the 24 bit
converters and RAM. An input pad switch can be engaged (attenuation of
-10 dB) for studio use. In addition, the Replica can be made to sound
more "analog" by pressing the "Brown" button which
engages a Hi-cut filter that alters the tone of the repeats. The result
is a warmer, smoother delay reminiscent of a 60´s era tape echo.
The
Replica is true (hot-wire) bypass and is capable of delay settings up to
2000ms. The Replica also features a tap tempo function (which can be
controlled externally, via the built in midi socket), and a subdivision
function (which when engaged, creates triplets, based on the
"tapped" quarter note tempo). The Replica provides a direct
out 1/4 inch jack and comes with an external 12 volt power supply.

 The
Tremster has been designed to sound like a vintage tube amp
tremelo. Unlike many other tremelos that utilize opto-electronic
designs, the Tremster uses a light-dependent resistor (LDR) to achieve
it's deep, buttery, seductive tone. A
flashing LED displays the selected speed setting, and allows a wide
range of control from very slow to head-spinning fury. When the mode
button is in the "normal" position, the Tremster has an
aggresive/more sine wave type effect on the signal, coming down 100% in
volume. When the mode button is depressed, the Tremster has a less
aggresive/more square wave type effect on the signal, coming down only
80% in volume. The
actual volume control itself is unity gain in the 12 o'clock position
and provides up to 3 dB boost (and more "bite") in the maximum

Dr. SwampThe T-Rex Dr.Swamp is a double distortion pedal. It has that rich vintage sound, T-Rex is known for. Besides the warm crunchy sound, this pedal gives a lot of steady bottom.
