Gibson Les Paul 53/60 conversion:

 
The first part of the Conversion was done 1973, when an unknown luthier set the neck angle to correct specs,
the neck was shaved to 1960 specs, has the original Brazilian rosewood finger board.
Correct red pigment on back and sides of body and neck, a thin nitro lacquer burst over the three piece blister maple top.
Vintage Groover tuners, 
Lindy Fralin  PAF's, unpotted, weaken AlNiCo 2 magnets, 7.2K neck, 7.9K bridge.
All parts are correct time pieces from GM Restorations, Victoria BC.
Original parts from 1953: Toggle switch, pointers for controls and output jack.
The pots are all from 1973, the resistors are 1960's.
The restoration 2009 was done by John Brown Guitar Factory, with installation of
the parts, pickups, a 1959 nut and a smaller neck repair
